Bar Mitzvah Venue in Washington, DC 1 Year, 4 Months ago
I'm helping to plan my nephew's Bar Mitzvah for September 2010 in Washington, DC and welcome input on where we might host a nice dinner that evening -- preferably somewhere outside, maybe tented, with a nice view of the Washington skyline. I've heard good things about Charlie Palmer on Capitol Hill. Any advice?

Hello Carla!
Have you found additional venue alternatives since your post? Could you please share?
I also prefer outdoor parties. Blue skies with a beautiful view are a wonderful way to open everyone's hearts and create a cheerful party!

Well, when I was 13, for my bar mitzvah I received my first typewriter. And that was special. (R. L. Stine)

Not in DC, but the Rockville Rooftop provides a great outdoor location. It's the only Rooftop facility in Montgomery County. Check it out!
