I had such a wonderful time planning my son's recent Bar Mitzvah (with my ex-husband no less!): I would love to share my ideas. Warning: I view a Bar Mitzvah as a true right of passage and despite the terrific party, I don't believe that Bar Mitzvahs should be Broadway blasts. Still my ex is very creative and I am a professional purchasing agent so I negotiated great deals for photo, video etc. We did some very meaningful activities, readings, etc for the Bar Mitzvah.
