invitations 3 Months, 1 Week ago  
What is an appropriate amount to spend on Bar Mitzvah invitations? How extravagant do they get? Do I need an RSVP card or any other cards in addition to the invitation?

I think that the price of 1 invitation can vary from less than $1 to about $10.
Luxuriously thick cards will be expensive.
Anyway, my feeling is that it's a little over the top to get those expensive ones. There are beautiful options with the cheaper ones.
