Probably many 12 years old girls will find Hello Kitty a little childish, it is true. Bat Mitzvah is a tricky age, some of the girls indeed are more mature, but others still fancy this kind of items. I actually have a friend, 35 years old, that cannot stay without her Hello Kitty hair holder. It's cute. So, like with every gift, it is important to fit it to the personality of the person the receives it. Cheers!
