My child has been invited to the Bat Mitzvah of a school friend. Now, I’m confused it if I should attend services with her. Also, I’m worried about the food they will serve. I’m not sure if they will serve kosher food or not. Even if I go with my daughter, or she goes alone, I don’t want either of us to have non-kosher food at the party. How do I find out? Would be ok to let her go alone at that party? We don’t know them well.

You can attend the Bat Mitzvah with her. The host synagogue will welcome you. It is a very satisfying experience to attend a Mitzvah. If you have to go to another synagogue on that day, then you can ask another family to be with your daughter. About your concern regarding kosher food, chances are that they will serve only kosher food, as non kosher is against the policies of the Hebrew school. You can casually ask the host about the food if you are concerned. Violation of Kashrut standards isn’t ethical, so I don't think they will have non-kosher food anyway.
