What is a must for Bar Mitzvah? I mean, what are the things that must be present in a Mitzvah event? I have been reading about various ideas on Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. But there must be some elements that must be present in all Mitzvahs. What are those elements? Apart from the food, games, music and all… the things that make a Bar Mitzvah a Bar Mitzvah… things that relate to Jewish traditions… things that make a Mitzvah different than other parties. I hope I was clear in explaining my point.

It depends upon what you want. A Mitzvah is like a Passover ceremony. Let the Jewish history and traditions guide you, but there is a lot of freedom and much to experiment. A Bar/ bat Mitzvah gives you full freedom to explore your creativity.
But since you have asked, some traditional elements are Hebrew blessing recital, chanting or studying from the Torah, and writing your own commentary from a portion of Torah or Haftarah. If the boy or girl has studied Hebrew, it is even better as he or she can understand the concepts of Torah in a better way.

I agree. You can do whatever you want in the Bar Mitzvah party. You can visit this website and find plenty of good ideas. Just take a look around- there is so much to explore. But yes, make sure your child receives good Jewish education, because Mitzvah is basically the celebration of his development into a mature Jewish adult, which cannot be possible without proper Jewish education. And if you haven’t provided him already, you can get him some coaching for this purpose. It would take a few weeks I suppose and your child would be ready.
